"I believe that we should all strive to express our creativity, whether it be through art, music, writing, or any other form of expression. By doing so, we tap into a part of ourselves that is unique and authentic, and we contribute to the richness and diversity of human culture."

Shondinii Walters is a Diné artist originally from Tuba City, Arizona. She attended Diné College where she worked toward her associate’s degree in Social and Behavioral Science. Shondinii had a life changing experience that caused her to move and continue her education at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her artworks include multiple mediums such as painting, sculpture and jewelry. Each medium derives from different inspirations of family, and cultural experiences. She currently works from home and maintains a family of four in Ponderosa, New Mexico, near Jemez Pueblo.
